Hello all,

I am a newbie in Verilog world, and I have got this Altera board for educational purpose. I have utilized LED, Switch, Push Button, and HEX 7-Segment LED properly. However, I want to advance myself in utilizing other I/O peripherals and I can't get the idea how to utilize it. I am looking for a start to utilize SRAM at the moment, as it seam's to be the most easier to utilize it as in memory modules. I am currently using Quartus II 9.1 version with Altera DE2-70 board. Could anyone help me clarify how to utilize SRAM chip?

Also, another concern what I have noticed is that I have seen some files on Altera Forum in which the controller and test file is being generated automatically I believe? Could anyone be kind enough to tell me how to generate such file to access the LCD and/or other modules?

Thanks,

K.
