iam using a cyclone II developement board and iam trying to boot from the cfi flash memory. My design contain a NIOS II system.

i set the reset adress to cfi flash, and i used the flash programmer to program the flash.the flash programming is successfuly done. But when i push the reset config button, the default program runs and not my program. is that normal?

if anybody have an idea about that please answer me.

I think that it is because the reset program says the CPLD to reprogram the FPGA with the default configuration, not with the one you made. Have you written the flash memory the the POF, which contains the FPGA configuration?

There are two reset config push buttons....factory and user. Which one are you pressing? Also, be sure that you program both the software and the hardware using the flash programmer.
