Cyclone 2 - how to force reconfigure from inside FPGA?

I have a Cyclone 2 configured via AS from EPCS4 chip.

How do I force reconfiguration from within FPGA after EPCS4 content update?

I do not have the access to the external nCONFIG pin from the inside logic.

try running the megawizard and seeing if you have a remote update core. I don't know if CII has it. CIII does. Search for "remote update" on this blog. There are lots of people asking questions on this subject. Good luck, you will need it.

Cyclone II doesn't have the required remote update hardware. As far as I know, there's no means to force a reconfiguration other than asserting NCONFIG pin or through a JTAG instruction.
