Cyclone IV: Different Voltage Levels on different IO Banks

Quick question regarding a design for a Cyclone IV.

I want to run IO Banks at different voltages specifically a few at 3.3V and a few at 1.8V. Reading through the documentation this seems to be allowed and part of the MultiVolt IO system.

But then I read the top line on page 11-3 of this Altera document: https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/cyc/cyc_c51011.pdf which confused me a bit. It states "Supply all device VCCIO pins that have MultiVolt I/O capabilityat the same voltage level (e.g., 3.3-V, 2.5-V, 1.8-V, or 1.5-V). SeeFigure 11–2."

Can anyone confirm for me that I can run seperate IO banks(seperate VCCIO pins) at different voltages?

Thanks!

The document you're looking at is from 2008 appears to be for the original Cyclone family, not Cyclone IV. So you can safely disregard that requirement.

It is possible to run different banks with different voltages, but NOT with different voltages at one Bank.
