Cyclone IV PLL IP megawizard crash

Hi, i recently got a Cyclone IV with an Ep4ce6e22c8 chip, i started to play arroun with the board and i am triying to use the ALTPLL IP for a project, but  the megawizard plug-in manager crashes whenever i click next on the step 5 of the configuration. I tried many different configurations to see if I would get past that point, with no results, the only result is an empty qip file that weighs 0KB.

Supposedly the device is supported for this family and there are no error messages in the quartus prime console.
¿Any solutions?

I can confirm that PLL Megawizard is crashing in Quartus 23.1 when advancing to the Output Clock tab. I tried with Cyclone IV E and Cyclone 10 LP, just using default settings. Also a PLL component defined in Quartus 19.1 reopened in 23.1 crashed when selecting output clocks.

The problem has been already reported, see e.g.

The first link however contains already a solution by copying 22.1 Megawizard files to 23.1 installation. I don't see known issues related to PLL Megawizard reported for Quartus-23.1std.0.991-windows in FPGA knowledgebase, shouldn't the problem appear there 2 month after first bug reports? At least the problem should be known internally to avoid misleading suggestions as above.

Definitely waiting for an official patch.

I assume you have enough ram for supported Quartus and device used?

I have 16 GB of DDR4 RAM, which I suppose is enough.

Thank you very much for the links to those possible solutions!!, I am already downloading version 22.1 and will confirm later if it worked
