Cyclone IV vs Cyclone 10 pin compatibility

Hi.

I have an old PCB design which uses a Cyclone IV EP4CE6 device in an EQFP package. I would like to know if a cyclone 10 (namely 10CL006 EQFP) would be pin compatible with this PCB. A quick look at the pinout of both devices suggests that the answer is "yes" but I could not find any official statement on the subject. The use of Cyclone 10 will be favorable in terms of cost and power consumption of the chip.

Thanks ahead!

Hi,

If the pin mapping is found to migrate then it is good to go ( Power pins and IO pins) . And also it is recommended that for upgrading Cyclone IV , the best part is Cyclone 10 LP and if you looking for high performance can go for Cyclone 10 GX
