Cyclone10GX 3V maximum DC input voltage question

Hi,

On page 9 of the C10GX datasheet (https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/hb/cyclone-10/c10gx-51002.pdf) there is the final portion of Table 3. The first line on that page gives a maximum DC input voltage of 3.3 V for 3 V I/O. What happens if I were to exceed that by, say, 0.1 V from time to time?

Thank you!

Hello,

Quartus will either give you an error or you the device will get permanent damage in a long run. You can refer to page 6 for something similar to this

Thank you,

Amin.
