DCM on Cyclone 2 ???

Hello, 

I am using cyclone 2 and Quartus 2 for my project. can somebody tels me if it is possible to change the clock of the fpga cyclone 2? Is there any Digital Clock manager on cyclone 2 or Quaruts 2?

Hi Dora, 

 

You could use PLLs for changing the clock inside Cyclone II FPGA. Refer to Cyclone II manual for more details.  

 

If you are using a development board, then there may be other clocking options (external) available with the board. Refer to board user manual to identify board clocking options.

For information on the megafunction (altpll) in Quartus that allows you to implement the PLL in your design, see the megafunction user guide for it at http://www.altera.com/literature/ug/ug_altpll.pdf
