Hello shaiko,
According to section 1.7.2 in this document https://www.altera.com/content/dam/a...e/an/an741.pdf (https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/an/an741.pdf) the .sof file is used to program qspi. But I thought that sof is used only for volatile flash, so how can it be ? Thank you! RanLink Copied

The .sof is used to first program the FPGA with the parallel flash loader to allow the .pof to go through and program the QSPI.
