Does .sof is used with qspi ?

Hello shaiko, 

 

According to section 1.7.2 in this document

the .sof file is used to program qspi. 

But I thought that sof is used only for volatile flash, so how can it be ?

The .sof is used to first program the FPGA with the parallel flash loader to allow the .pof to go through and program the QSPI.
