Dual rank DDR3 device

Does Cyclone V SoC hard memory controller support dual rank DDR3? I couldn't find exact information regarding dual rank.

I already checked that it should be ok. My memory device would consist of two "dual rank" DDR3 chips each with two x16 4Gb ranks. And on the HMC there is two CS's, two ODT's, two CKE's, four DQS's (one for each x8).

Total memory space would be 4GB because this would added for the HPS HMC ( 2GB ) and also for the FPGA HMC ( 2GB ). Just with four chips!

So this would not be a DIMM style memory. This would be a point to point memory solution.

have you taken a look at this?

they mention 2 chip selects, but are not explicit about dual rank

Thanks. Yes, I already looked over that table. Dual ranks are mentioned but only for DIMM's.
