Hi Florin,
You are recommended to re-program the device since there were still some slightly different between -2 speed grade and -3 speed grade device according to the device datasheet.
Thank you

Hi Florin,
Thank you for contacting Intel Community. To know the difference between the EP20K200EFC484-3(N) and
EP20K200EFC484-2(N) is the speed grade. For details, kindly refer to the APEX 20K datasheet:
https://www.intel.com/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/ds/archives/apex.pdf
Next, please be noted that APEX 20K device families were obsolete since 2017 according to PDN1619.
https://www.intel.fr/content/dam/www/programmable/us/en/pdfs/literature/pcn/pdn1619.pdf
There are limited support on the obsolete part.
Thank you
Regards,
Chia Ling

Hello.
Thanks a lot for you reply.
From what I saw, there is no big difference in speed of -2 compared to -3.
If the source files for FPGA programming were done for -3 speed variant, do you think the same source files will work on -2 chip, without further programming adjustments?
Regards,
Florin
