Hi all,

I am looking for a document that describes exactly the design flow working with a FPGA of altera (from Design Entry to Device Programing), and explanations about every stage.

I found this document that compare between Altera and Xilinx

altera.com/literature/an/an307 .pdf

but it focus on the comparetion between those two and not explanations about the Altera stages.

and i found this one

altera.com/literature/hb/qts/qts_qii5v3_01 .pdf

but again no any explanations what every satge it's for

Thank you for your assist

Hi Eddie,

I can suggest these three links.

This are some free online trainings where you can start with:

http://www.altera.com/education/training/curriculum/fpga/trn-fpga.html (http://www.altera.com/education/training/curriculum/fpga/trn-fpga.html

This is a side with all PDF documents that describe how to use the Quartus II development environment:

http://www.altera.com/literature/lit-qts.jsp (http://www.altera.com/literature/lit-qts.jsp

And this is the Quartus II build in help:

http://quartushelp.altera.com/11.0/ (http://quartushelp.altera.com/11.0/

Best Regards,

Mathias
