I want to attach the PS2/keyboard to the DE2 port. But befor doing so, I'd like to test my code in Modelsim.
The first I'm doing is just to form a Scancode with the serial input of the keyboard.
I wrote a testbench that clocks the ps2 clock every 60 us (16,7kHz). Next I'm assigning input bits that need to form a data bit stream with the same frequency. Obviously, its not working!
. . Where is my error in reasoning??
Please give me a hint!
