Hello everyone

so I'm looking for lcd touch screens 13" and bigger that can be

interfaced to fpga's.

-if you know a good vendor or a website

containing a variety of lcd touch screens post it here.

-I have read a lot about types of touch panels and i wonder if

capacitive screen would be harder to interface than resistive.

- any tips before I buy an lcd touch screen?

Thanks a lot

Most resistive touchscrens I know also require a touchscreen controller. Depending on the type you have a serial or parallel protocol. I cannot reccommend any LCD, But I have a NewHaven TFT myself and that uses a simple parallel protocol.

I checked NewHaven TFT website and the biggest touchscreen size is 7" and I'm looking for 13" at least.

do you think it would be easier to buy an lcd display and buy a touch panel rather than buying them together installed from one vendor?

Thanks for the reply

I would say try to find them as one unit. This makes installing easier. And you won't have to match sizes.
