Hello!

I would like to use a MAX10 device in my next PCB (10M16SCU169C8G), which is created in Altium Designer.

I already searched the Altium Website for an existing IntLib for Footprints, but they are not available there.

Do you known if there are Footprints for MAX10 devices available somewhere?

BR,

Markus

Why don't you create your own?

I assumed that Footprints from Altium/Altera are proven to be error-free.

That isn't necessarily the case!

You could have created it by now.

Altera offer PCB support, in varying levels, for cadence (https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-cadence.html) and mentor graphics (https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/download/board-layout-test/pcb/pcb-mentor-graphics.html), but none for Altium.

I suggest you ask the altium community (https://live.altium.com/#signin) if anyone has already captured the PCB footprint you require - and whether they are willing to share it with you.

Cheers,

Alex

Its not necessary that you would use Altium Footprints specific. You can import any third party library into Altium and use it.There is list of Vendors available that are imported in altium at www.altium.com
