Getting an error message that states the program was written in PRO.

That is the chip we are using. Do I need to upgrade to the Pro license and use version 15 of pro that supports MAX V chip. The reason we didn’t get the Pro version is because Intel states Max V is no longer supported in the Pro version.

Hello Welcome to INTEL forum. Sorry for the delay as last week was a holiday for us. Regarding question upgrade without paying 5k, based on my understanding, for upgrading Quartus version you still need to pay for it. But before further discuss. Can you give me a little background/elaborate on current issue, could you provide error messages screenshot any difficulty that could help on understanding this issue? Would you also mind helping to further elaborating on what is the specific request?

Hi,

I have figured out how to archive the old project using the version it was created in and now working on porting it into the newer 18.1 standard version. We purchased the standard license because MAX V family is no longer support by PRO version.
