Hi all,
I am designing a new PCB and planing to use the MAX10 FPGA. I have read the "Pin Connection Guidelines": https://www.altera.com/documentation/luo1479889762304.html in which there is a pin named "REFGND" that is recommended to be connected to the GND with a feritte bead. I have downloaded the pin-out excel file for the 10M50DC device: https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/dp/max-10/10m50dc.xls and it seems that there is no such a pin, for the 256 pin package, why is that?- Tags:

Hi Vadim,
as explained in the specification you have mentioned, the REFGND pin is connected with an ADC feature of MAX 10 device family. But the mentioned 10M50DC is "C" option with compact set options. FYI: The 10M50DA device with "A" option has the REFGND pin for 256 pin package. I recommend to check MAX 10 product table for further reference, https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/pt/max-10-product-table.pdf Regards, Martin- Mark as New
