I would like to know where exactly the firmware flashed by the user gets stored in Altera MAX V family CPLD since its user flash memory block is 8 Kbits only and my firmware file size is 44KB

Hi,

It is flashed in UFM, Refer the “User Flash Memory Block” from the following link,

https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-v/max5_handbook.pdf

https://www.altera.com/content/dam/altera-www/global/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/max-v/mv51007.pdf

Let me know if this has helped resolve the issue you are facing or if you need any further assistance.

Best Regards

What do you mean with "firmware file"? The configuration *.pof? It's stored in CFM.
