Multiple device PS config

Hello,

I am trying to program two EP3C10 devices using a microprocessor on board. The cyclone iii handbook says that it is possible to configure the two devices using separate configuration files (page 9-36). How do I go about generating programming files for such a case?

a. Can Quartus generate a combined programming file for both devices?

b. when the first device in the chain receives all its config data, how much is the delay in its nCEO pin going low? If the delay is small compared to configuration speed, then does the microprocessor have to keep track that the second device is being configured.
