Good afternoon!
I'm trying to install Quartus 18.1 Lite on my laptop, but installation lasts for too much time and never completed.
The Laptop has Windows 7, SP1, 64-bit system, frequency of 2.7 GHz and 4 GB RAM.
More than 100 GHz of the disk is free.
Why installation process stuck in? What can I do in order to complete the process of installation?

Windows 7? You'll really need Windows 10 for that.
100 GHz? I presume you mean 100 GB which should be sufficient, but only 4 GB of RAM is going to be painful if you're able to install.

Yes. of course, 100 GB.
What is a minimum size of RAM required to install Quartus 18.1 Lite on the Laptop?

Good morning, I've found the solution.
Win-Zip or Win-Rar should be installed on the laptop or PC.
you can close the case.

What does Winzip have to do with installing Quartus?

Could you provide more context on how obtaining WinZip or WinRAR helped resolve your installation issue?
My guess is that you downloaded a .tar file but were unable to extract the installation files. Is that correct?
