Security features on Agilex 5 platform

Hello

i have a question about agilex 5 security features. From what i understand - all agilex 5 devices have access to SDM, but this image shows that A and C type of devices cant use it.

Does it mean i cant use encrypted bitstream with these parts or i just dont have access to encryption engines during normal work of device (after booting).

I need bitstream encryption for device and trasceivers (without HPS). Will type C of device be fine for my requirements?

Thanks for help

Hi.

You can use the device type C as well if it is purely FPGA based design and you can have encrypted bitstream for your design.

In device type C, it doesn't have HPS(Hard Processing System) i.e. no arm cortex cores.

Sorry for delay.
It seems that all of "production" devices have SDM and one of its functions is bitstream encoding.

Thanks for help
