What do you mean by 'shut down'? Does your board/device physically power down/off? Or do you mean your device just appears to stop responding to any external stimulus? 

 

You are going to have to provide a LOT more info on what your configuration is (board, device, tools) and what you are trying to do, and why you think it is 'shutting down'.
