Uploading .pof file to MAX V device without usb blaster/quartus

Hello,

This is basic question which i still wondering is it possible to upload .pof file or converted .pof file to svf or anything else without usb blaster/quartus programmer ?

 

i mean, like microcontroller can be upload .hex file in many ways .

i want to start project "Altera MAX V programmer" base from microcontroller like STM32 or ATMEGA which has .pof file inside them and upload it to MAX V chip.

the goals is only want to update MAX V firmware without computer .

 

is it possible ? if so, where can i go to start? i can do microcontroller programming .

you want to look for jrunner code (embedded JTAG programmer).
