i talked to my Altera FAE, The Cyclone V Variant ( E, GX ) is announced for the first half-year 2012 ( Q2 ). First development kits Variant ( E, GX ) are announced for the second half-year 2012 ( Q3 / Q4 ) Cyclone V Variant ( SoC ) 2012 Q4 / 2013 Q1

heh again they will make cyclone gx series starter kit which probably will the same worthless as cyclone iv gx starter kit :) no hsmc ports = no development.
