can't program the epm7160slc84-10n ALTERA

hi 

i tried to program the epm7160slc84-10n altera of max 7000s series. i used the byteblasterMV cable and quartus 5.1, but the quartus doesn't recognized the altera. 

i'm kind of new in programming cpld alteras. 

i think that my problem is in the connection of the altera to the jtag plug.
