init SD card

Hi, I have a problem with a 2 GB SD card, in a nutshell I already created my system SOPC with SPI master and I'm trying to communicate with the SD card.  

The board used is Altera DE2 Cyclone II.  

I wrote the part of the initialization code in NIOS II using the prototype described tutorial Quartus about SPI protocol but despite various tests with varying characteristics types of code and using different clock frequencies the answer that I read from the registry reception is always 0xFF ... 

 

can anybody help me? thanks in advance!
