"Error code" in Flash Programmer

Hi all, 

I'm working with the Cyclone III development kit and with the NIOS. I'm trying to drive the parallel flash device: when I start the Flash Programmer it generates this errror :  Error code: 4 for comand: $SOPC_KIT_NIOS2/bin/nios2-flash-programmer "C:/.../.../flash/test_NIOS_cfi_flash.flash" --base=0x1000000 --device =1 --instance=0' --cable=USB-Blaster [USB-0]' --program --verbose.  Is there any solution? Thanks  angelo

If the code is not very long , I suggest you'd better attach the c code, otherwise it's hard to find the problem . Because Nios compiler is not very clear for the Question location.
