I have got a software update about the RST,and it's showing a warning that YOU ARE ABOUT TO PERFORM A CRITICAL UPDATE and to backup all data.Is it safe to install the software update because I didn't have enough storage to backup all my data.

It it advised to backup your drive before updating RST driver. Your driver may become unacceptable to the O.S. However it is important to update the RST Driver also. So, better find some drive for backup.

I'm glad for you. Despite this, working without backup is not a good idea. If you are using Optane memory or Raid array it is even worst. So, prepare backup of your data.
