Hi Alfred,

I encountered a similar problem, To be precise,it's even more serious, have three disk RAID5 array / Volume broke down, the status description screen shot for bellow. this 2 disk is show unkown(未知),

but actually this 2 disk in the system & BIOS that it can be seen is normal(好的),

my question is if have any soluiton may i rebuild the array / volume (of course, the data inside remains), If there is no good solution ,Finally I created a new RAID5 and say good bye to the old files.

Thanks for your feedback. you will find the specification of my config.

My Comupte : mainboard is a ASUS Z87-c, cpu:intel i5-4590 ; Disks (use for array ) : 3 Seagate ST1000LM024 HN-M101MBB TO SATA3. Firmware:2AR20002;

Hello skynetsea,

I have similar motherboard technology as you do.

INTEL RST for your motherboard this is 14.10.0.1016 WHQL
https://www.station-drivers.com/index.php/en/component/remository/Drivers/Intel/Rapid-Storage-Technology-(RST)/Drivers/Intel-RST-14.x-Serie/Intel-Rapid-Storage-Technology-(RST)-Version-14.10.0.1016-WHQL/lang,en-gb/

This driver will offer ideal support for your motherboard.

Regarding your RAID setup.

You must perform first HDD drive inspection, check its drive health due HDD manufacturer software.

In order to remove 17.11.3.1010,  go to devices manager,  load oldest driver in the list.

Reboot ..

When oldest driver is active, ... then uninstall  17.11.3.1010

Then check devices manager, remove any stored copy of 17.11.3.1010

Now is the time to install your copy of 14.10.0.1016 WHQL

Now is the time to recreate your RAID Array .

Please let me know, if you faced any issues installing  14.10.0.1016 WHQL

You cannot receive further advice's from INTEL,  because they consider your hardware as outdated.

If you are unable to fix this system?  Then hire and pay a professional computer builder, so him to do it.
