RSTe (NVMe) driver keeps crashing

Windows Server 2012 R2

Intel P3700 2.5" drives. 2x in RAID1, 7x in RAID5

RSTe version 4.5.0.2125

This has happened on two different systems at two different times. Windows bluescreens, does a memory dump, and restarts. Error is:

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (IaRNVMe.sys)

Nothing gets logged into the event viewer and I cannot find any log files of it.

System is a Supermicro 2028U-TN24R4T+

All drivers and firmware are up to date.

Drive bays 1-9 are populated.

All parts are on the Supermicro supported hardware list.

I do have a 16GB memory dump that Windows created, 1.69GB zipped.

As you mentioned above, all the hardware and the RSTe version being used are fully compatible with each other.

Based on that, we will review this case in order to try to find a possible solution to fix this problem.

As soon as I get any updates, I will post all the details on this thread.

Any further questions, please let me know.

Hello brian89gp:

After reviewing your case, I just wanted to let you know that since the Intel® C612 chipset that the board has is a server chipset, in that case in order to get support for this product you just need to get in contact with Supermicro directly, they should be able to provide further assistance with the RSTe (NVMe) driver:
