BMC upgrade server motherboard S2400GP

Hello!

When you update the BMC error occurs:

Error BMC Firmware is not transitioning to Operation Mode.

Error ERROR 08 - Could not enter FW transfer modeAn error occurred.

Please tell me how to fix this error.

Are you updating under UEFI shell? If not try UEFI update first. If you still see this under UEFI, try to perform Force BMC Update by moving the Force BMC Update jumper. For more details, see board http://www.intel.com/support/motherboards/server/s2400gp/sb/CS-033483.htm TPS section 9.2.
