Hello Mark19,
Thank you for joining the community.
I understand that you'd like to know if Intel® Server Board S2600BP and Intel® Server System S9200WK will work with RHEL 6.4 or RHEL 6.6. These 2 are not tested operating systems for the models mentioned. You can find the information in the following articles:
Tested Operating Systems for Intel® Server Board S2600BP
Tested Operating Systems for the Intel® Server System S9200WK Product Family
Let me investigate a little bit more about the legacy OS compatibility with these systems and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hello Mark19,
I hope you are doing great, I investigated the inquiry a little bit further and could not confirm the use of those operating systems with the units mentioned before, and from our end, we cannot guarantee functionality outside of the operating systems that we have already validated. You can always try the OS but we cannot foresee any possible issues or compatibility issues
Please let us know if there is anything else that we can do for you.
Regards

Thank you for all your help. I have found with the S2600BP it will not support earlier Red Hat versions with the SAS 3008 bridge board. Replacing this with the native SATA bridge board enables full support. During the boot process you get a couple of warning messages but these can be ignored. The embedded X550 10GbE NIC is fully supported going all the way back to RHEL 6.4. Currently we are integrity and soak testing the hardware with RHEL 6.4.

Hello Mark19,
Thank you very much for the update, I am glad to see that you have found a workaround, this combination has not been validated by Intel so we have limited support options, but if you have any other issues or concerns, we are here to help.
It was a pleasure assisting you. We will proceed to mark this thread as closed, thank you for choosing Intel.
Best regards,
Paul R.
