RS3WC080 as a HBA

Hello

My first discussion here, im wondering if it's possbile to run a RS3WC080 in HBA mode? I'm about to build a NAS with ZFS and i have a RS3WC080 raid controller laying around, but im not sure if its possbile to make the controller passthrough the drives to FreeNAS as just drives. Anyone have any experience with this controller?

This RAID controller does not offer JBOD mode or the option to act as a HBA. Each drive needs to be configured in a RAID configuration. You may configure your drives individually as RAID 0 volumes instead.
