SR2600URLXR - Disable Intel RAID

Hello,

I don't want to create RAID arrays in BIOS, I just want to use the hard drives, but they are not recognised by Linux if I don't configure them in RAID.

Can I use the server without RAID?

So basically all I had to do is take out Intel RAID Activation Key from the RAID midplane.

Hello mvemelyanenko,

Thank you for submitting your question on this Intel® Community.

Due to Intel® Server System SR2600URLXR being discontinued, Intel Customer Service no longer supports inquiries for it, but perhaps fellow community members have the knowledge to jump in and help.

You may also find the Discontinued Products website helpful to address your request.

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/discontinued-products.html

Depending on your environment, you can also review the following documentation:

Intel® Server System SR2600UR Technical Product Specification

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/motherboards/server/s5520ur/sb/e45274011_sr2600ur_tps_r1_9.pdf

Thank you for understanding.
