Hello Uarmi ,

Intel makes the hardware available for the Operating System. It would be good to contact VMWare* for further troubleshooting steps.

I was able to find some information about the error you report.

As a First step, you could try looking at VMware* ESXi 5.5 Update 1, with added drivers for Realtek NIC, ASMedia SATA ports, and LSI RAID. You could get more detailed information from https://tinkertry.com/first-look-at-vmware-esxi-5-5-update-1-with-added-drivers-for-realtek-nic-asmedia-sata-ports-and-lsi-raid First look at VMware ESXi 5.5 Update 1, with added drivers for Realtek NIC, ASMedia SATA ports, and LSI RAID | TinkerTry…

You could also try using ESXi-Customizer GUI to inject multiple driver VIBs into your ESXi installer ISO. You could get more information from https://tinkertry.com/use-esxi-customizer-gui-to-inject-multiple-driver-vibs-into-your-esxi-installer-iso Use ESXi-Customizer GUI to inject multiple driver VIBs into your ESXi installer ISO | TinkerTry IT @ Home *

It is also important to checkhttps://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2056935 Devices deprecated and unsupported in ESXi 5.5 (2056935)

Please let me know if you have any questions and if the information provided helps you solve the issue.

Hello Shumail,

Where are the hard drives connected? Are you using a RAID controller? If you are using the onboard SATA ports, make sure that the storage configuration is set to AHCI or Enhanced as the onboard controller does not support your Operating System in RAID mode configuration.

If your Storage Configuration is already set to AHCI or Enhanced, are you able to see the drives in the BIOS?
