Hi,

I moved to a T7610 workstation to do my multi-core development.  Does anyone have this box and tell me what the BIOS settings needs to be to get the 1st and 2nd generation PHIs to work?  The driver is fine, but I can't get micctrl or micinfo to work.  It hangs when it tries to communicate with the Phi...

Thanks,

Thanks. I already added the MMIO Above 4GB, so the driver is online, but the commands still hangs. Am I missing another setting?

I do not know (don't have a T7610 w/ coprocessor). The next thing to look at, would be to disable virtualization (if applicable).

By the way, did these cards come out of a working system?
IOW weren't cratered, and MIC BIOS had been flashed.

Several years ago, installing dual KNC 5110P's, I had an issue with PCIe enumeration with my CPU, motherboard, on-board PCIe devices, and PCIe external devices (in my case a video card). The work around was to reset the BIOS (to forget prior PCIe enumeration) then boot the system without the KNCs. Then install one KNC, boot, test. next, install second, boot, test. My system had two KNC's, you have KNC + KNL.

If you try this method, install the KNC (x100) first.
