Build fails in XDK

Hi,

I'm trying the simple cordova Hello World example. When I try to build for Android under 'Cordova Hybrid Mobile App Platforms' I get a variety of problems - either nothing happens when I click build, or the building animation appears briefly then disappears with nothing happening, or I get an error message 'An error occurred while building the application. Verify your build assets are correct and try again' with no other details and no link to any build log.

However if I try to build for Cordova Android in the App Centre control panel it works fine.

Hoping someone has some ideas, google has failed me on this one!

edit: after further testing I managed one successful build on xdk using exactly the same setup as the failed builds, the App centre control panel is also now failing, again with no useful error message or logs. Each build attempt takes between 1 and 5 minutes.

I'm getting intermittent build failures too.  Sometime it says building for around 5-10 mins (usually it's only a minute).  

I wouldn't mind so much except for this which clearly indicates its something I've done wrong, but haven't.  Worse still is there is absolutely no visible log (something that intel acknowledged  https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-xdk/topic/530314#comment-1796894  over a year ago).  Why is a log output of everything still not possible?

I've just tried building a couple of sample projects and it seems to be working fine at the moment. Maybe the build server just doesn't like working weekends?

There was an update to the build system on Monday.

Ok great, build works every time now.

Next thing to figure out is why this NFC plugin isnt working...
