Cordova build error Intel XDK 2170

Hello,

My application does not build in Intel XDK after I upgraded my xdk to 2170. Build engine does not create error log file. It just returns Verify your build assets. I tried many things, I changed my CLI to 4.5 , I removed all spaced in project assets. But It always returns the same error.

Can you build the blank template?

Are you trying to build for Android, Crosswalk, iOS, other?

Can you provide a screenshot of the build error?

I had a similar problem with all my old projects.

Tried many different options in an attempt to use a project that has been upgraded. Nothing worked for me. Based on Paul F suggestion I started a new project using the blank template. I then populated the project with my source code (html, css, and js) from my old project.

The project built just fine.

It was a little annoying at first that I had to start a new project. So I tried even more ways to make a standard upgraded project work. Eventually I gave up totally. Now it takes my 5 minutes to start a new project, transfer source, and re-assign all the graphics. Honestly it is the graphics that's the biggest time in the process. Just clicking away until the icons and splash screens are re-assigned.

If you have project deadlines, I suggest you backup the existing project, make a new project and copy in the source files. Hopefully this will work for you just a well as it did for me.

By the way, if you ever figure out what the glitch is with an upgraded project, I'd be curious.
