Evaluation version of XE 2015 requires license

I was able to compile in 32-bit but not in 64-bit, due to a license issue (see below). This is the evaluation version (of XE Composer 15) I downloaded a few days ago.

Anyway, to work around this quickly?

The same license which works for the 32-bit compiler should work also for 64-bit.  Just copy it into the folder designated at 2.   This should have been taken care of during installation.

If you need help from an Intel person with access to the registration data, the companion forum on licensing should work faster.

Right, I will check at the accompanying forum. For the record, I am not sure what I should be looking for (for the 32-bit license).

Hi,

BTW, you can set the INTEL_LICENSE_FILE to the full path where the license file exists like:

%INTEL_LICENSE_FILE=~/x/y/z/xxx.lic

To get things right though:

I don't have a license sent with the evaluation version. Making a search on the c drive revealed no license (except for one old commercial one, not evaluation).

Question remains how to compile 64 bit, why the compiler makes that license request being on evaluation?

Any work around?

FYI, I have found this related direct download link: https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/performance-tools-for-software-developers-intel-flexlm-license-servers But I get an error clicking on the link above. It may be available only for licensed users and not evaluation? Thanks

But I cannot find the lincense file inside C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses.
