Intel XDK latest version app designer crashes

Hello !

Ever since the last upgrade, every time I want to use the app Designer ( drag&drop an element), the XDK crashes and says: "Intel XDK encountered a problem and needs to restart." I restarted it in both ways ( normal and safe) but the problem persists.

Can Somebody help me?

Which operating system are you using? I ask you this because I'm working with macOS Sierra and I had no issues while doing the same thing you are doing.

I am on Windows 10.  The app designer crashes over and over again when adding controls.

We're working on a hotfix that includes some crash fixes.
