Kindle Fire APK won't Load

Hi, I'm having trouble getting an APK built with the XDK to load on a kindle fire.  I've tried a few different builds but I'm thinking the problem has something to do with the build options.  I've tried with the demo app "FOODESSENTIALS API DEMO APP" and also my own jqm app I'm working on.  Just a basic business app for text entry/view. 

The error on the downloaded kindle apk is "Cannot open file".

Anyway, any ideas on build options?  Kindle version 6.3.3.

What build options did you select?
Cordova Android, Legacy Android, or Amazon build? Signed box checked or not in the Cordova settings?

Hi, the problem was with the build options, "Signed" box was un-checked.  I changed it to Signed=checked, and I'm back in action. Thanks, Rich
