Linker File on Purchase of Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 for Windows

Hello,

We have recently procured Intel Visual Fortran Composer XE 2013 for Windows OS - Floating Commercial 5 sts (ESP). On its purchase, we were allowed to download 2 files, that were

1. Server License Manager

2. w_fcompxe_novsshell_2013_sp1.2.176.exe (installation setup file)

We have succesfully installed Server License Manager in a server system and installation setup file in user system. We have noticed that there is no linker file with the product.

Please, suggest use how can we get the linker file.

Actually, we want to compile a pre-written Frotran File and generate the exe.

You will probably get a response from the Intel ppl tomorrow when they're back at work.

In the meantime - you say you have installed the version with novsshell.  However, you do not mention installing Visual Studio, which is a required component, and which includes the linker.

If you do not have a separate license for Visual Studio, then you need to download the version of the Fortran Compiler with the bundled version of Visual Studio, and install that.

Regards,

David

You need to get the download that does NOT include "novsshell" in the name. Log in to the Intel Registration Center and select the product that says it "includes Microsoft Visual Studio Shell and Libraries". Uninstall the version of Fortran you have and install the one that includes the VS Shell.

I would not have expected that the email you received pointed to the "novsshell" download. I am moving this thread to the Registration, Licensing and Download forum for follow-up.
