MIC on ubuntu 15.04

Hi, I am trying to build the mic module for Ubuntu. After following https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-many-integrated-core/topic/532329#comment-1815945, http://arrayfire.com/getting-started-with-the-intel-xeon-phi-on-ubuntu-14-04linux-kernel-3-13-0 and with some of my own modifications, the build is successful. However, when I try to load the module, modprobe is not able to locate it. I also tried depmod after modprobe. But the same result. Could someone please give some pointers...

insmod ./mic.ko successfully loaded the module. I hope it helps someone
