Programmable Resolutions in X3000 (G965)?

I heard that the resolutions in the new X3000 are programmable, but how programmable? Nvidia cards allow pixel-independant resolutions on DVI (but not VGA) on 6 and 7 series, and DVI and VGA on ATI's X1k series. Most importantly, will it support 1366x768. Not 1360x768 and not 1368x768, but exactly 1366x768?

I finally managed to get the moninfo details for the monitor in question. I would now need the DTD lines for the drivers .inf file.

archibael help please! winxp work with my viewsonic p655 1024x768@85Hz, but in vista all refreshrate limitation only 75Hz. Chipset Q965, driver GFX_Vista64_15.7.3.64.1409_PV_Intel.exe.

Don't know why you're seeing different behavior in WinXP vs Vista, but if you use the DTD method you should be able to program 1024x768@85 with

Hi I know this is a intel forum but after days of searching you guys are the only place i can find with similair problems.

I have a 32 inch Samsung LCD TV and am supposed to be able to get 1368x768 resolution but keep getting 1024x768 and nothing either side of that, I have tried different ATI drivers but didn't help at all i ran moninfo and got this?!?!

I am actually running vista not 2000.

I am guessing this is due to the fact that in Device manager under monitors it is picking this up as a Generic NON PnP Monitor, is there anyway around this?

How to modify the driver so that to change the max resolution 1024x576 of my Lenovo Ideapad S10e (Intel GMA 945), for example, to 1152x648 or 1232x696???
I tried everything with DTD Calculator and PowerStrip without any success!
Please for any help, idea and suggestion!
