Even after logging in Why the access to the Intel XDK Getting started video denied at https://software.intel.com/en-us/xdk/docs/lp-introduction

That video was no longer correct and there is no replacement for it. The link on that page should have been removed. Thank you for bringing that to our attention, it was an oversight that the link was still present. Please use the tutorial that is provided and the release notes.

You also need to remove the option to view the video from the XDK installation package or new users will keep encountering this problem, as I did.
