Upgrade CD vs Download upgrade

I upgrade to 6.5 via the downlaod option vs. ordering the CD. In reading the readme.htm that accompanies the downloaded files, I see reference to files available on the CD version. The statement infers that the downloaded upgrade does not include udpated or new samples files/folders, in addition to other files. My question is this: What files/folders am I missing by upgrading via the download option? I know I can download the manuals/docs in PDF, but what about the other files not included?

Regards,
Bill

The "readme" explains exactly this.

The download version upgrades the samples and documentation if they were installed to your hard disk. The CD has a copy of all of the samples and documentation, the same as the product CD, for those people who reference these files from CD.

You're not missing anything with the download version, as long as you installed all components to your hard disk to begin with.
