Using my key for another product

Hello intel,

I am a graduate student. And I bought an student key for my Parallel studio xe 13 (windows) 2 month ago.

I want to replace Parallel studio xe 13 by Cluster studio xe 13. Can I just uninstall Parallel studio then install Cluster studio with the same key?

Hi there,

Your Intel Parallel Studio XE license won't work for Intel Cluster Studio XE. Sorry for that.  In order to use ICS XE, you will have to purchase an upgrade.  See <http://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-xe-product-comparison#pid-8745-113>.
