we have just purchased a new computer and we want to install fortran/C++ for linux 64 version 10.1. we have been running this version for quite some time and our license file shows a date of 2008.1113. can we use this license on another computer across the network? i can provide the license file(s) if that is helpful.

What kind of license do you have? Please do not post your license or serial number here.
In general, Single-user license allows the license owner to install the product on mutiple systems. however, only ONE copy of the software may be in use at any one time.
With the exception of Intel Cluster Tools, Intel Software Products are licensed to a single user rather than to a single computer.
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Regards,
Corey

You can login to intel registration center (https://registrationcenter.intel.com) and put your serial number to get info on your license.
