As the title suggests, would intel 760p nvme m.2 drives be supported as a bootable raid array on x299 chipset?
I understand that this would need the VROCISSDMOD key?

I see, so the VROCPREMMOD key is required for a bootable raid with OS mounted?
The VROCISSDMOD will not work for this purpose? The reason I ask is the VROCPREMMOD key is much more expensive.

Hello Wondercao,
In regards to your question every Intel® SSD 760p has a sequential read speed of 3210 MB/s and a sequential Write speed of 1315 MB/s which on combination with Intel® VROC + 4 Intel® SSD 760p SSDs you can get a performance of Read 6736 MB/s & Write 4477 MB/s.
You can check more details of the Intel® SSD 760p Series using the URL bellow:
Please keep in mid that intel® VROC on x299 is a technology that has been released for high end user and not for enterprise usage

Yeah, I've noticed I can't enable VROC with 760p m.2 sticks.
I'm using a X299 Msi Gaming Carbon Pro.
I've contacted MSI tech support and they are looking into the issue.
Unfortunately, they didn't have a key to recreate my scenario...
I purchased the 760p's based on advice from support here, so I'm hoping this will end up working in the end here.

Well, sounds like to get VROC to work, you must use an M.2 xpander/hyper card. Cannot enable VROC through PCH (m.2 slots) must be done through PCIe slot. I am waiting for my card which will arrive this Friday. I will update then.
